This multilateral youth exchange is a follow up to previous projects organized by the “European Youth4Media Network” e.V., a European NGO based in Germany and having the applicant as one of its member branches.
It is also proposed within the Annual Activity Plan of the Network. The Activity will bring in Botosani, Romania, in July 2008, for 10 days, 6 youth groups of 7 participants each from RO, D, H, Israel, Jordan and Marocco to working together for a better understanding and learning to use digital techinque, as well as to be the beneficiaries of an innovative type of didactics and methodics for the European youthwork with media. Special attention wil be paid to the youth who don’t have much access to electronic communication technology (Marocco, Jordan and Romania represented by 3 youngsters living in rural area). The goal is to establish the contact and the dialogue between the young representatives of different European regions and of the Mediterranean Partner Countries, as well as to improve the intercultural understanding among  youngsters.
The new technologies (Internet, Video, and Audio) will be fruitfully used for intercultural learning and political education. The youth will deal with different forms of civil commitment at local and European level.
The project fosters mutual understanding between young people in different countries as well as develops solidarity and tolerance among young people. Results: music video clips, film report.
The young participants develop their personal commitment for active citizenship and seek solutions for the conflicts existing in geographic areas where some of them live.
